PET scan results

Just heard from my doctor.. the results from my PET scan yesterday indicate that there’s been no re-growth of cancer cells. I don’t have to do any more chemo or any radiation treatment.. Obviously this is great news.. I’m just going to be cautious until we talk to them in person on Tuesday next week before I really celebrate :)

Yet more photos..

Just took a few night shots of Seattle. Quite pleased with most of them. See the gallery here.

Shooting more wildlife

Went shooting today with as planned, except we decided not to go to Hurricane Ridge. Instead, we went to the Northwest Trek wildlife park which is a huge zoo/wildlife park down a way south of Seattle.

There are two parts to the park, one is a regular zoo type part, then they also have a section where you ride a bus and they take you round to see all the large animals (like deer, moose (mooses? meese? mice?) bison, etc.). I’m still learning what I’m doing with this camera, but I’m getting better. I’m more pleased with the photos I took today than the last shoot, and these were mostly in relatively poor light conditions and with no tripod. The full collection of images can be seen here, and an example image can be seen here:
