This was a bigger worry for Mom that for him, and a bigger worry at the time. He was married then and isn't now. And he said on any number of occasions before he got married that he had no intentions of having kids. But then, he also said he had no intentions of ever getting married. It seems likely that he won't marry again, and even less likely that he will try to have children. I'm glad you proved your doctors wrong.
